Accessible Education

Picture
Accessible education is the foundation of individual opportunity and American economic vitality. To ensure every American has the chance to demonstrate their merit and contribute meaningfully to society, high-quality education—from pre-K through postsecondary—must be universally available, inclusive, and affordable. Public schools are where our national values take root, and they must be equipped to serve every child, regardless of background, ability, or identity. That means investing in well-trained, well-supported educators and administrators; robust special education and support services; and school environments where every student feels safe, respected, and empowered to succeed.

Higher education, including technical and vocational pathways, should be financially accessible to all who wish to pursue it. No student’s future should be limited by cost. Federal, state, and private investments must work together to ensure that low- and middle-income students can attend without burdensome debt. We must also ensure that education equips students with the knowledge, skills, and civic grounding to thrive in a changing world, including the ability to re-skill. That includes digital literacy, critical thinking, and a commitment to shared democratic values. A just and prosperous future depends on the choices we make today to educate the next generation.

P.S. We need to send our AIs off for some of this accessible education. That's unless you prefer a 27-letter alphabet with no J or K, but a double dose of M, Q, and Y!
